Operation: Not Crappy Graduation Dress Complete!

Drum roll!

Super short drum roll!

It's a little bit baggy, but all in all I like it.
Mainly, it looks good on Hannah that's the important thing.

I'm not sure what's next on the agenda. I've got a couple of projects yet to be completed, so maybe I'll start up on those.

But first my baby sister graduates tomorrow and then husband-face and I need to care for some devil chickens this weekend.

Yea...

Discoveries abound!

1. When I give myself a deadline I purposefully sabotage it.

2. I am completely inept at taking pictures of myself.

So with that in mind here's the pictures!

It's a zipper!

Upside down.

I know, kinda poop, but I'm wearing it this weekend so I'll have Hylinn take some pictures.
I think that will work the best.

I haven't installed Photoshop or Lightroom yet on my computer.

So I can't see any of my pictures yet cause I need Camera RAW....
Ugh.

Setting up a computer again is exhausting.

All Better

After much love and affection, an organ replacement and electronic therapy, my computer lives!

Unfortunately I've gotten so used to using Hylinn's computer that despite the fact that my computer is glowing with healthy vibrance, I've been ignoring it for the stability I've associated with Hylinn's computer.

I'm sorry dear computer.

I haven't forgotten! Here are some pictures of the dress I made.

Here's some of the fabric in the middle of being sewn together.

Here's a close up of my sweet ass stitching.

A footnote to this, when I get involved in a project I like I run with it. Thusly I almost completely forgot to take pictures as I did this. So it's hardly a step-by-step, but a rough idea of what I did to get to the place where I could wear all the fabric I brought home.

I'll have a picture tomorrow of me wearing the dress, as well as a picture of the shorts and hoodie I made.

Hearts,
C

Ohh! Dresses!

Yep, I went wedding dress "scoping out" this weekend and it was lots of fun. My sister and a couple friends came along for the ride.snuck pictures(cause your not allowed to take pictures unless you're buying).commented.and made the experience incredibly enjoyable. I don't plan on buying a dress anytime soon simply because it'll take all I have to dance around the house in it everyday singing "pretty dress, pretty dress."

It's what happens when I get new clothes...

I do have to say it's nice to have the assistant person there to pin the dresses for you so they know how they're really going to look, but I don't really enjoy the hovering they do. It's nerve racking enough being in a place that's so foreign(I'm not much for dressing up), and then there's additional pressure of their presence. It's like a big elephant in the room that compels you to say nice things about the dresses.

All the dresses were gorgeous of course, not necessarily on me, but still gorgeous. I'll definitely be doing some more scoping in the future, but for now I know what I like and that more than I thought I'd ever figure out.
